Kristin Sluka is the owner and trainer of Triple Bar Farm. She holds her bachelor’s degree in Equestrian Sciences and Facilities management. She has successfully trained and shown horses in Michigan, Ohio, and Florida. Kristin has taught and trained at several local farms before establishing Triple Bar Farm in 1999.
Kristin has extensive experience teaching a wide variety of riders including first-time beginners as well as many advanced riders. Children as well as adults enjoy the progression of their equestrian skills with our program. Beginning riders learn horsemanship through hands-on educational activities such as grooming, tacking up, leading, bathing, clipping, wrapping and much more! Students also learn to be responsible by respecting and properly caring for their horses. Students will also learn about colors, breeds, health care and nutrition. All of our students and clients participate in our educational clinics. We offer these services as a way for our riders to improve and advance their horsemanship skills.
Triple Bar Farm has wonderful school horses and ponies who have taught many students how to ride and show. We believe excellent riders must also be excellent horsemen! Our school horses have been extremely successful with our students at horse shows and we do offer a very affordable in barn lease program.Triple Bar Farm provides many opportunities for their students to be able to compete at horse shows without actually owning their own horse.
Triple Bar Farm has won many Michigan Hunter Jumper Association year end awards as well as numerous division Champions and Reserve awards. Our riders have qualified for and won many Equitation Medal Finals.
